Happy Sunday! Today, I'm feeling super strong spring vibes and so I couldn't resist the I Love Spring Book Tag, which I spotted on One Girl and Her Blog. I'm not sure where the tag originated from but it sounds like fun, so let's give it a whirl! 1) How is Spring where you live? I guess I'm a little early for this one as Spring in the UK doesn't start until tomorrow, but so far, so good! The sun has shown it's face for the past couple of days and it's glorious, I can't tell you how much I've missed it. 2) Most anticipated book release this Spring? Malice by Heather Walter releases on April 13th from Del Ray and I know it's going to be amazing!! I was super lucky to receive an ARC of this book from Del Ray and it's next up on my TBR. I can't wait to read it, especially after all the amazing things I've been hearing about it. 3) Show us a book cover that makes you think of Spring: I haven't read it yet, but A Thousand Perfect Notes by C.G. Drews always makes me think of spring. How could it not with that gorgeous butterfly on the front cover? 4) Where are you going to read this Spring? This is a tough one. I don't really plan my TBR in advance BUT there are a couple of books I really want to get to. Malice, which I've already mentioned above and Threadneedle by Cari Thomas, another book that I was lucky enough to get an eARC of via NetGalley and Harper Voyager! Just look at that cover! 5) Find a cover with the sun on it! I guess both of these count! Honestly, it took me way too long to find these on my shelves... 6) What are your favorite Spring reads? Honestly, other than kids books like The Very Hungry Caterpillar, I can't really think of any 'spring' books. There are books that make me think of new beginnings though, which I suppose is almost synonymous with spring. I think this is something I enjoy so much about romance novels (adult, NA or YA), because there's this promise of something new, a new relationship, being built each and every time. 7) Find a book with many different colors on it? I think Baz's suit alone makes this cover so colourful, but it's the first one that sprang to mind. It's so gorgeously vibrant and I just love it! And that's it from me.
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you have a fantastic spring full of sun and great books! I tag anyone who wants to take part, don't forget to drop your links in the comments below! Comments are closed.
